Art Clubs are led by Mrs. Cindy Black and Mrs. Jennifer Murphy. Both teachers bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the table. Sessions run from 8-10 weeks and are deivide by grade levels.
LITTLE GOURMET CUISINES:
Chef Vanessa returns to lead this very popular club. The class includes prep work, table manners, setting up/cleaning up, properties and nutritional values of ingredients, measuring, cultures and their cuisines. (K-5th grade). Classes will be held on Wednesdays after school
KIDDING AROUND YOGA:
Led by Kelli Van Meter, students in grades K-5 will be able to learn the physical, emotional and spiritual value of Yoga! Classes held on Tuesday afternoons in 8 week sessions.
Middle School students will have a wonderful opportunity to increase their knowledge in Math, Science, Technology and Engineering. Mrs. Staples will lead this exciting adventure. (Grades 6-8)
Rachel Therrell continues her journey with our littlest angelic voices to lead Cherub Choir. This enrichment is yearlong and the children work towards singing at a few Church services throughout the year. (Grades PK-1)
Students in grades 2-5 will have an opportunity for a Choir enrichment. Practice will be held after school on Thursdays. We hope students will be able to take their talents on the road in the community as well as special LCS events and Church services.
Mrs. Linda Warlick will return to instruct Piano after school. She will schedule a mutually convenient time with your family.
Anthony Alfano will return to give private and or small group guitar lessons to students of all ages. Mr. Alfano is a gifted and experienced musician. Days of availability will be announced.
Liz Fisher will once again work with our 5-8 grade students as the Drama Club grows. Students interested in performance/set design/crew work are encouraged to join. This will be a yearlong club which will culminate in a Night of the Arts as well as a full scale production in the spring.
Students in grades 5 have an opportunity to provide a valuable service to our families by assisting with drop off and pick up. There is no fee to join this yearlong service club, but smiling faces are mandatory.
Innovative and research based, this program will help enhance cognitive, social and emotional skills through thought provoking games. For grades K-5 on Thursdays after school.
